Lately it's the only thing I hear, you look so vintage! You should have been born at another time /
in the 50s or 60s... Oh! I'm going to try this really cool hairdo on you, very defined curls and tons of hair gel on the top part so that it stays completely stuck to your face, like a china doll! (I tell you, this really happened and it looked terrible on me!) Anyways, people say I look vintage almost as much as they tell me I need to go to the beach because I'm so white... This sentence will chase me forever, sigh!
Maybe they are right about the vintage look, I didn't realize until now, but I wear at least two vintage pieces in every outfit. Has my style changed? What style did I have before? And now, will I only wear vintage clothes? Nah, nonsense, I think I just hadn't had access to vintage stores before I moved to Barcelona, and there are so many cool vintage fleas and shops with great clothes, I can't help myself, more and more vintage keeps piling up in my closet! I also feel more open to experimenting with different styles in a big city, in Bilbao too many people would give me uncomfortable stares if I dressed there the way I do here. My last experiment would be these big vintage frames that make me look like an insect, in a good way (hmmm, I wonder, is there a good way to look like and insect?)
So, what do you say, ¿do you like them? I scored them at the Lost and Found flea I told you about a couple of months ago, I said I couldn't wait to have a second pair of glasses. It's taken me two months to take them to the optician's. So you see, I do get stuff done, in my ow time, slowly, veeeery slowly! ;)
