Beach dress

¡Feliz Agosto! Es un decir, que yo trabajo tooodo el mes, madre mía que palo, ¡me voy a derretir en Barcelona!
Sigo "tomando prestada" la conexión de mis amables vecinos, así que no me puedo extender demasiado, por si se cuelga. Además estoy sin nada que decir, ¿yo? ¿verdad que es raro? ¡Si normalmente no callo! ;)
Será la tristeza que me invade, ai si, se ha marchado Marie-Paola, mi fotógrafa habitual que es un amor. La voy a echar muchísimo de menos, ¡nos lo hemos pasado tan bien en todas las sesiones que hemos hecho juntas! Para despedirnos en condiciones, quedamos en Calafell, su pueblito en la costa de Tarragona donde ha vivido este año, e hicimos tres sesiones de fotos. Esta es la primera, un look marinero para estrenar mi nuevo vestido de Oasap.

I'm still "borrowing" the internet connection from my kind neighbours, so I can't stay too long to chat :) Besides, I don't really know what to say, I've ran out of topics to write about... me! I know, it's weird, normally I can't stop talking, or typing, rather. ;)
It must be the sadness... oh yes I'm very sad, Marie-Paola, the wonderful photographer and friend, the talent behind the camera on my best photos, has moved back to France. To say a proper goodbye, we met in Calafell, the town in Tarragona where she has been living this year, and she took my pictures for the last time. This time I created three different looks, this is the first, a sailor look wearing my new Oasap dress.

El Nervión

¡Hola! ¿Cómo estáis? ¿Haciendo el vago bajo la sombra de los cocoteros en una playa paradisiaca, daiquiri en mano? ¡Qué envidia! Yo estoy asfixiada en Barcelona (empieza ya el CALORAZO) y con las vacaciones prácticamente agotadas, ai que pena más grande. He estado unos días en casa, en Bilbao, un plan súper exótico, ¿verdad?
Pero no me puedo quejar, he estado en un festival, (BBK Live); Radiohead, Garbage, Mumford&Sons... no pinta mal, ¿eh? Y también he estado en la playita, vuelta y vuelta, tomando el sol. ¿A que se me nota el bronceado? ¿Cómo? ¿Que estoy igual de blancucha que siempre? ¡Pero si tengo un tono moreno fenomenal! Bueno, la verdad es que en estas fotos me veo incluso más blanca que de normal... en fin, no hay nada que hacer, ¡c'est la vie!
Si, ya lo sé, no puedo aparecer por aquí y ponerme a escribir tonterías como si nada, ya sé que tengo el blog muy desatendido, estoy muy retrasada contestando comentarios, no actualizo Lookbook... Cuando la vida se complica y no hay tiempo para nada, no hay mucho que se pueda hacer. Además aún no tengo internet y lo pillo "de estrangis" de vez en cuando pero no siempre funciona (por favor, no me mandéis a la policía a casa, ¡prometo que el mes que viene contrato mi propia línea!)
Me despido ya, sólo quería pasarme y saludar, compartir estas fotos que me sacó mi amiga Elena durante un paseo por la ría de Bilbao y desearos a todos un muy buen verano. :)

Hey! How are you? Lying happy and idle on the beach, in the shade of the palm trees, daiquiri in hand? :( I'm jealous! I'm in muggy Barcelona (it gets horrible this time of the year) and already back from my holidays which I spent in my home town, Bilbao, how exotic, right?
Nah, actually my holidays were great, I went to a festival: Radiohead, Garbage, Mumford&sons, cool right? and spent a couple of days at the beach, tanning away... What? You can't tell? But I have a fantastic brown colour right now! Don't I? Hmmm actually I look even paler than usual on these pictures, oh well... C'est la vie! ;)
So I know, I'm being very inconsistent with this blog lately, I'm super behind on answering comments, not updating on Lookbook... I guess I'm just busier than usual with life in general. Plus I don't have internet connection at my place yet, so I'm stealing it for the moment and it doesn't always work (please, don't send the police over, I promise I'll get my own next month!)

Lucky yellow

¡Hola holaaa! ¿Qué tal estáis todos? Ai, que llevo mucho tiempo sin escribir por aquí, ¡que desastre! Es que últimamente mi vida está un poco fuera de control. Y os preguntaréis, ¿por qué? Pues ya sabéis que a mi no me hace falta que me preguntéis mucho para que os cuente mi vida en verso...
Así que allá voy. Antes de empezar el mes me mudé a un loft pequeñito pero muy acogedor; por fin un pisito solo para mi ¡ueeee! :) La mudanza ha sido una locura, sobre todo por la cantidad de ropa y zapatos que tengo, cada vez que me mudo me doy cuenta de que tengo una adicción a las compras muy seria; ¿cuántos pares de zapatos puede necesitar una chica? ¿20?¿30? ¿más de 30? ¡no lo creo!, ai, decirme que vosotras estáis como yo... En fin, el tema es que sobreviví a la mudanza y estoy ya instalada en mi pisito, ¡que felicidad! :)
Al día siguiente de la mudanza me marché a Madrid, he pasado la semana allí (¡fines de semana incluidos!) porque tenía que ir a clase. ¡Si! ¡Vuelvo a ser estudiante! He empezado un Master de Innovación (¿a que suena chulo?) y tenía una semana de clases presenciales, de 9 a 7,30 cada día. He aprendido muchísimo, me va a venir muy bien para mi trabajo y también va a suponer muchísimo trabajo para los próximos meses, pero me veo con ganas!
Después de tanta seriedad académica era totalmente necesario que me quedase el fin de semana a desconectar un poco. Los que me leéis desde hace un tiempo ya me habéis oído decir mil veces lo divertidísimo que es Madrid. Esta vez fui al museo Sorolla, me fui a hacer una pedicura a un salón monísimo y a un concierto de jazz en la terraza del Círculo de Bellas Artes. Y bueno, por supuesto salimos de fiesta, ai, sé que me repito más que el ajo, pero ¡que divertido es Madrid!
Y después de tanto trabajo y diversión en Madrid, ¡mañana empiezo mis vacaciones! Pongo rumbo a Bilbao, mi ciudad, para ir al BBK live y ver a la familia, por esas cosas de recordarles a mis padres que sí, efectivamente, tienen una hija...
Revisando el rollo que os he metido me estoy compadeciendo de vosotros, ¿por qué narices os iba a interesar esta crónica de mi vida? Ai, no se, debe ser la costumbre, a la menor me animo y os cuento cosas personales, ni que fuesen interesantes... Así que vamos a pasar a un tema más interesante... ROPA VINTAGE! ¿Que os parece mi vestido 70s de Lotta Vintage? ¿No es monísimo?

Hello everybody! how have you all been? I've been crazy busy lately and as you might have noticed, not able to post much. And why, oh why, have I been so busy lately? Well if you must know....
First, I found a new place to live by myself (finally!) and so I had to move. Whenever I move I realize I have an addiction, the amount of clothes I own is insane! How many pairs of shoes can a girl possibly need? 20? 30? More than 30? Hmmm I don't think so! please tell me you have the same shoe situation... Anyways, I survived the move and now I'm more or less settled in my cozy loft, yay! :)
The next day I left for Madrid, I've spent there a whole week (plus the weekends!) because I had to go to class. I'm a student again! I started a Masters degree on Innovation (it sounds fancy, right?!) and I had class from 9 to 7,30 for the whole week. I learned so much, it has given me a whole new perspective for my work, and it will give me a lot of work for the next four months... but I'm actually looking forward to it!
After the week of classes I had to (yep, had to, it was an obligation) stay for the weekend and party. Madrid is so much fun, I think you heard me say this a million times. I went to the Sorolla exhibition, and had a great time with my bestie getting pedicures and enjoying a jazz concert at the roof terrace of the Círculo de Bellas Artes (Fine Arts Circle). And then there was partying at night, lot's of fun, I tell you!
So after so much work and fun in Madrid, I'm off to Bilbao on holidays. There's a festival there this weekend and I'm staying on for a few days to see my parents and do family stuff, you know, once in a while it's good for them to see that they do, in fact, have a daughter!
Hmmm why did I just make a summary of my past couple of weeks? I don't know, I guess I'm used to sharing my personal life with you guys, as if it was interesting or something... Let's move on to a more interesting topic, VINTAGE CLOTHES! What do you think of my vintage 70s dress I got at Lotta Vintage? Isn't it super cute??

Floral Summer

¡Ya hace calor en Barcelona! Los días son más largos, la temporada playera ya está inaugurada, los estampados de flores enormes invaden los pantalones... ¡la vida no podía ir mejor!
No me voy a alargar mucho hoy, os quería dar las gracias por aconsejarme qué look elegir para mi cita, os tengo que decir que fue muy bien.  Parece increíble, pero no estaba a la caza de cualquier fallo, ni con actitud cínica, ni negativa, ni muerta del aburrimiento. (Si, esta sería una descripción bastante exacta de mi actitud ante una cita hasta el momento). Pero no os aburro más con esto!

I'ts hot in Barcelona! The days are longer, the beach season is on full swing, pants have massive floral prints this year... life couldn't get any better,  if you ask me!
I'm making this a short post, but I wanted to thank those of you who helped me choose an outfit for my date, it went really well. Surprisingly, I wasn't on the lookout for flaws or being cynical or negative or absolutely bored. (This is a very accurate description of my dating attitude until recently). Aaaanyways, I won't bore you with this any more!
