There is a Spanish saying that goes : "La primavera la sangre altera", which translated would be something like : Spring alters the blood, and I think it really does! We smile more, we become more talkative, we dress more lightly, and even the boy's compliments sound better! And we sure did get nice compliments last Sunday, although not the one I got from a guy that told me he had some spare tickets for a tanning bed salon, that was just mean. But funny in a way, I guess...
Everybody is out and about (sometimes I wonder where these people are hiding during the rest of the year) and so were my friend Isa and me, all over Madrid on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Late brunch was followed by a walk around Plaza de Oriente and an hour or so of lying in the sun and then walking over to La Latina for some serious people watching fun! For the perfect sunny day I put on the perfect summer dress. And my new pair of sandals which gave me an also new pair of blisters on my heels, ouch! Oh well, nothing can be too perfect! :)

This outfit is so perfect between the adorable pattern on your dress to your pretty sandals! I'm so excited about the summer and the better weather. After a long winter, there's hardly anything better than a bit of warmth and sunshine! Don't worry, everyone makes fun of me for not being tan, too. But hey, we make a fashion statement!!! ;P xxx
