Traveler´s outfit >> Delft

Vestido/Dress: H&M // Gabardina/Raincoat:? // Bailarinas/Ballerinas: Zara // Pañuelo/Scarf: My mum´s // Bolso/Bag: Bimba&Lola // Gafas/Glasses: Antonio Miró

This is what I wore for an excursion to Delft, a beautiful city one hour away from Amsterdam. It was a bit cold and there was light rain for part of the day, so I had to wear a raincoat and some rain boots would have been great but I wasn´t clever enough to pack any. It´s the first time I post a picture wearing glasses on the blog, but I do wear them almost every day. They are a limited edition by the catalan designer Antonio Miró, who took inspiration from the 60s to create a line of very cool retro glasses.

The rest of the pictures are not really outfit pictures, but just a selection of a few nice moments from my trip. There are quite I few, I tried to choose less but I couldn´t decide which to leave out, sorry!

By the way, this is a scheduled post, by the time you read this, I´ll be a jetlaged mess in Shanghai. I´m so excited about this trip,it´s a once in a lifetime opportunity! I´ll try to post, but in case there´s trouble with internet access, see you in a couple of weeks!

A taste of autumn >> Edam & Amsterdam

Hola!

Hi there! I´m still going through all the photos from my trip, but I thought I´d share some already, just for the sake of not writing an awfully long and picture heavy post. On this day I went to Edam cheese market. It was kind of touristy, but still nice to see, the village is beautiful and the cheese is... there are no words!

I´m wearing the shirt I told you about on my last post. Its by Scotch and Soda, an Amsterdam fashion brand. The shops are beautifully decorated and the clothes are attractive and good quality, it was difficult to choose just one piece! When I travel I like to buy a piece of clothing that will remind me of the place I visited. I really like this shirt, so I think my euros were well spent.

And here I am again wearing my shirt. Back in Amsterdam a few rays of sun came out so I had to make the most of them while they lasted. After a quick trip to H&M, here I am, in Vondelpark, wearing tights in the middle of the month of august. This is very shocking, for I am always the first to change boots for sandals as soon as there is a hint of spring, and I´m the last to grab a coat come autumn.

A celebratory jump for the nice weather!!!

Camisa/Shirt: Maison Scotch, Scotch&Soda // Medias/Tights: H&M // Bailarinas/Ballerinas: Zara // Gafas de sol/Sunnies: American Apparel // Pañuelo/Scarf as headband: My mum´s

Watering plants in style >> Sagrada Familia

These pictures are from the day before my trip to Amsterdam. I had to go to an apartment to water the plants and leave some food for the cat. And since the terrace is really beautiful (the views are amazing, can you see the Mapfre towers and the sea?), I decided to take a few pictures. So here I am, getting down to business!

Of course I deserved a glass of wine after so much work! hehe

Camisa/Shirt: Bimba&Lola // Falda/Skirt: Mango // Sandalias/Sandals: Camper // Collar/Necklace: My mum´s // Gafas de sol/Sunnies: American Apparel

I´m going through my photos from Amsterdam and I hope to write a post later. The weather was miserable for most of the days. Being an optimist person, I refused to believe the bad forecast so I found myself with a suitcase full of shorts and summer dresses in cold and rainy Amsterdam. Getting dressed every morning was a challenge! But I did enjoy my stay very much and scored a great shirt in very nice autumnal colours! I´ll share all of it very soon!

The month of August in Barcelona is so oppressive, there is no breeze, and the dampness makes you feel constantly on the verge of sweating. I wanted to stay as cool as possible, so I decided to wear the least amount of clothes, just this shirt.

But let´s talk about the shoes! I bought these Hasbeens last week since they had a (small) discount during sales. The shoes are expensive, but I love them! The design is great, they are comfortable to walk in. Hasbeens are hand made in Sweden with high quality eco-friendly materials.
On their web site they are offering a 30% discount until the 25th of August. Go find your pair!

Back to the muggy streets, but not for long, I´m leaving for Amsterdam tomorrow!

Afternoon Sun >> Plaça Urquinaona

Hola!!!!
He dudado mucho, ¿sobre qué escribo?

Hi!!!!
So today I write my first post, after a long time reading other fashion related blogs and thinking how I could do my own thing. I have been doubting a lot, what should I write about? will it  be interesting for others?… but I decided to stop being a chicken and start now, see how things go!
I want to share photos of nice places in Barcelona and write about fashion related stuff that interests me. So let´s start!!
I hope you like it!!!
