Here is the promised outfit post, I am wearing a silk pink greek style dress by forte forte, which I snagged during the sales with a 70% discount. I have always loved silk, and lately most of the pieces I buy are made of silk, it is such a beautiful material. The weather hasn't been very summery around here lately, so I needed a scarf to keep the cold away.

I have a confession to make. I am addicted to cheap books, those old books whose authors never ring a bell, that cost 1 euro or less and are piled in the corner of thrift stores or in messy boxes at flea markets. Sometimes the books I buy are awful, I can still remember a book on esotericissm which was especially bad, but most of the times I get lucky and I discover a wonderful book which I would have probably never found at a book store. It isn't a brand new best seller with a glossy cover, and most of the books I find nobody has ever read, but I love finding hidden treasures like that.
One of them is this book which appears in the pictures, Monologue of a cold woman, a novel which describes customs and manners of the spanish bourgeoise in Madrid during the 50s. It is strange that the author, a man, can describe so well the thoughts of the main character, a rich widow in her mid forties.

What a charming confession. I love the smell of old books, some people might think that's weird.

I really like your sandals & handbag! Perfect with the dusty rose. For some reason you remind me of a modern Jane Austen in this post.
